Nutracon 2009 features cutting edge tracks prepared and presented in collaboration with world-class researchers and carefully selected partners (industry, academic and government) to ensure top-notch science, solid business and industry context, and the highest potential for commercial or health-policy impact.

This conference is a guided tour, opportunity by opportunity, through some of the burning issues and challenges facing the health and nutrition sector. Interspersed with chances to ‘dig in’ with category experts, the event promises to provide actionable intelligence in a carefully structured environment.

In 2009 the focus is on five quintessential and growing categories:

Weight Management and Obesity (Wednesday and Thursday)
Applications & Impacts of Fermentation Technology (Wednesday)
Healthy Aging (Wednesday)
New Developments in Vitamins and Minerals (Thursday)
SuperFruits and Berries (Thursday)

The choice is yours to select and learn from the tracks that most influence your needs. Each track begins with recent developments in basic science, moving next to applied science and technology on the subject, then to real, current, evolving case studies in each track. Next, these will be placed in context with market information, trends, and data. To conclude, we’ll conduct a significance assessment by subject experts and, where applicable, an assessment of health-policy impact.

Choose to spend both Wednesday and Thursday digging deep into the issues and challenges of Weight Management and Obesity or select from Healthy Aging or Fermentation on Wednesday, and on Thursday select from Vitamins and Minerals or Superfruits.  Each track features cutting edge science from the people on the front lines.
